COLLINE GUIZZETTE
"ROBERTO" VALDOBBIADENE DOCG "ON THE YEASTS" BRUT NATURE
DESCRIPTION
Roberto is a wine produced in a limited edition of numbered bottles from three vineyards, the best for the following unique characteristics in the Valdobbiadene panorama: sun exposure, soil and the presence of very old vines.
The soil, of marine origin formed by calcareous sandstones and the presence of fossils, guarantee the grapes an excellent structure and a marked sapidity.
Sui Lieviti is the unique expression of Valdobbiadene.
The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, as in the classic method, but without disgorgement, thus leaving its yeasts that remain on the bottom of the bottle, protecting the wine.
Straw yellow color with greenish reflections characterized by a haze due to the presence of yeasts on the bottom of the bottle.
Delicate and elegant perlage, rare for one on the lees but given by the noble origin of the grapes used for Roberto. Very complex and diversified aromatic profile from the floral notes of dandelion and spring wildflowers to those given by the yeast.
On the palate it is harmonious, complete and soft also due to the total absence of sugars and the very dry, sapid and mineral aftertaste.
